Robertson's smoked sausage is a new adventure in sausage eating. It is made from the lean cuts of corn fed pork. This mild flavored, extra lean sausage is first cured like our famous hams and bacon and then smoked over green hickory embers for hours and hours. Robertson's smoked sausage is a brown and serve style sausage so we suggest that it be heated by grilling in a skillet, broiling, or microwaving. This sausage is good used as breakfast sausage with eggs, waffles, and pancakes. For a quick breakfast, slice in 1/2 inch patties and heat in microwave for 1 minute. In our country store, we serve this sausage as our sausage biscuit.
